THE PRACTICAL FACILITATING THE SPIRITUAL

WHAT IS THE HELPS MINISTRY?

The Gateway family is made up of several teams, people who are working together to take care of an aspect of Church life. The Helps Ministry includes the following teams:

The photography team are responsible for capturing key moments during church services, ceremonies and events.

The sound team are responsible for managing and enhancing the audio aspects of worship services and events. Their responsibilities encompass various tasks aimed at ensuring clear communication, musical quality and an overall positive auditory experience for the church.

The screen team are responsible for managing visual elements during worship services, events or presentations. They handle projection screens, displays and other visual technologies.

The Live Stream team is responsible for managing and executing the live streaming of worship services, events and other church activities.”

Stewards ensure everything remains safe and equipped for the morning service. They have a working understanding of the needs of the morning and ensure that the main service is able to operate smoothly.

They help coordinate people to the altar area in ministry times, take up the offering, give out communion, help find seats and are available to serve where necessary.

It is essential that in any gathering, there is appropriate resources for First Aid in case of injury or emergency.

Our First Aid stewards are trained and are on hand to assist in any situation. Training is available

One of Gateway’s core values is that people find a warm welcome when they come through the door.

The welcome hosts arrive early to meet and greet at the entrance on a Sunday morning and help distribute Gateway the quarterly newsletters.

This team is vital in providing the link between the Church Office and the church family to ensure effective communication of what’s on.

It is also the place to find out more about churchsuite which is the primary tool used to promote the calendar of upcoming events, groups and socials.

The Info point desk is also set up to provide printed information and the latest Gateway newsletter.

Our Connect Team faithfully serve our visitors and those ‘new to Gateway’.

This friendly team ensure newcomers feel welcome and assist in connecting people into our rapidly growing church family.

Come rain or shine these heroes of the Gateway family are on hand to assist with the parking on a Sunday morning, particularly on those challenging days when there is a big event at Bethel

This friendly team are responsible for the tea and coffee on Sundays pre and post service, as well as hosting at any potential special events.

This team provides a wonderful environment for relationship building.
